Carolyn - I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2004. I have 14 years of experience as a physical therapy technician. I learned a lot of skills from physical therapy which help me in my massage. My skills include the following: Deep tissue, Therapeutic, Relax, Neuromuscular, Reflexology, Cupping, TMJ, Lymphatic massage. I enjoy landscaping, bike riding, and eating healthy foods that I make myself.
Carrie - Growing up in upstate NY originally, I have lived in Florida since 1990. My mother would frequently tell me not to be in such a hurry to grow up, and at the young age of 10, I replied "But I have to, because I have to help people!' This desire to help people caused me to attend massage school in 1997 while living in Cocoa, Florida. It also lead me to donate a kidney to a stranger in July 2015, and most recently begin volunteer work with hospice. I have certifications as a reiki master and personal trainer, but my main specialty during my 19 years of experience is offering deep tissue therapeutic corrective work. I am confident in my ability to quickly find any issues and fix them with unique techniques I have developed. When I am not working, I enjoy watching the Tampa Bay Lightning at the Amelie Arena, attending music concerts and spending qualify time with my husband and 5 children. Essentials ownership, staff, and clientele have been wonderfully welcoming to me since I joined the Sage Wellness family on in November 2016.
Lisa Eve - Being part of your journey towards achieving a balance between body, mind and spirit is my honor. As a mindful and intuitive body worker, being a licensed massage therapist is a vital part of my purpose of being...as important as breathe itself. With a natural, empathetic energy to heal and create a feeling of peace and harmony, I look forward to being a facilitator to elevate your self-care and enhance your best healthy body, mind and spirit.
Wendy - My goal in massage is to help you feel good; reducing pain and stress via trigger point release and realignment of muscle groups to help you recover and reinvigorate. I have always been drawn to healing. Decades ago, I began with the study of 'energy healing'. I studied Hands On Healing, Quantum Touch, and Reiki. Distressingly, none of these modalities felt satisfying as a way to make an effective change for those I treated. Years later, by chance, I took a workshop in Thai Massage. I fell in love with it and decided to go to Thailand to study from the source. After four months of full-time intense study, I returned to the USA eager to share. I wanted to be able to practice massage in the USA so I enrolled at the Tennessee School of Therapeutic Massage and began the studies of Western massage modalities. After receiving my massage licence, I was driven to learn, to increase my knowledge and understanding of the healing art of massage. I accumulated a library of books and DVD's that I study frequently and I regularly attend workshops. Specifically, I have taken workshops in Scar Tissue Release, Joint Mobilization Techniques, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Massage, Neuromuscular Massage, Forearm Massage, Assisted Stretching, (and many others). I love to use tools to assist in my practice. During massage sessions, I freely blend in the usage of Himalayan Salt Stones, Vibration tools, Cupping, Dolphin Neurostim, and many other tools to help create faster and better results.
